Grief Share
Life After Loss Support Group
Grief Share — Life After Loss Support Group is a 10-week program offered to adults grieving the loss of a loved one. Spring and fall sessions are offered. All who are grieving the loss of a loved one are welcome to join the Life After Loss Team. Life After Loss is an ecumenical bereavement support group for adults who are mourning the loss of a loved one through death or permanent separation. Reservations are not required. Traveling Statue of Our
Lady of Fatima

General Dispensation from
Sunday and Holy Day Mass Obligation
This dispensation is removed for all Catholics within the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, effective January 2, 2022. The faithful should fulfill their Sunday and Holy Day obligations joyfully and conscientiously. However, the obligation to attend Mass on Sunday or a Day of Precept is not morally binding for those who find it impossible to attend Mass, e.g., due to illness, advanced age, caring for a sick person, or being at high risk for contracting COVID-19. These persons should fulfill their obligations through some act of prayer or meditation upon the sacred scriptures for the Mass of the day.

Pray for our Seminarians
The Office of Vocations invites all to pray for the seminarians in our archdiocese. Each day of the month, dedicate a moment to pray for the names that appear in the calendar boxes. Rosary Garden Group's
Monthly Rosary
Every month the Rosary Garden Group gathers to pray the Rosary in the Rosary Garden. All are invited to join in praying the living Rosary every Sunday following the 13th of the month. Why the 13th? Because in 1917 in Fatima, Portugal, our Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to three young children on the 13th day of each month for six months. Our Lady’s message to all – a call for conversion, reparation for sins, and prayer. Fatima is a Church-approved, Private Revelation.
